New STEED Quality of Life Study
We are conducting a new study - the STEED Quality of Life Study - to understand challenges experienced by testicular cancer survivors. We would like to find means to prevent testicular cancer morbidity among survivors and to identify treatment options that may confer better quality of life outcomes. We are inviting all participants in the original STEED study to take part.
You will be mailed a packet from the STEED Study describing this new research. If you agree to participate in the study, you will be asked to complete the study questionnaire and return it using a prepaid envelope. It will take about 40 minutes of your time. The questions address your general health, sexual and reproductive health, smoking history, and demographic information. All information that you provide for this study will be kept strictly confidential.
The valuable data collected for the original STEED study has been used to investigate a wide variety of hypotheses concerning the causes of testicular cancer. We thank you very much for your past participation and hope that you will consider participating in this new research, as well. |
